Gwyneth Paltrow kills me. Did anybody else read this story? Well, check out these brilliant quotes:
"I love the English lifestyle, it's not as capitalistic as America." "People don't talk about work and money, they talk about interesting things at dinner." "I like living here because I don't fit into the bad side of American psychology. The British are much more intelligent and civilized than the Americans."
Now, I know the U.S.A is not the most popular place on the planet these days. But it sounds to me like Gwyneth lives in a very isolated and privileged world. This just reeks of a spoiled NYC/Hollywood/London socialite who just happened to marry a world famous "rock star" and can afford to purchase a $3000 baby stroller. Or, should I say pram? Which is the more intelligent and civilized, Gwyneth?

One might dare to argue that the more intelligent civilization might be the one that regularly visits dentists.
It's one thing to admire another culture, but to totally dismiss one's own is ridiculous. Celebrities like Paltrow and Madonna are full of it.
O.K. -here's another way to view what she said -she said she doesn't fit into the "bad side of American psychology" so obviously she must think that there's a "good side" as well, right ? :). She's saying that SHE doesn't fit.
I think she's pretty...full of shit.
